Rochelle Aytes: The Show Is Juicy!

It's understandable thatRochelle Aytes might feel deja vu on the set of the new ABC summer series,"Mistresses." While the show is new to viewers, this isactually the second version that Rochelle has co-starred on. She did a"Mistresses" pilot that was rejected by Lifetime TV, and so she movedon and forgot about it. Then, the ABC show based on the same material wascasting and she was called again. 

This time the show got picked up andRochelle is once again playing the recent widow and single mom namedApril. 

Rochelle joins Steve Edwards and Maria Sansone on Good Day L.A.

Fun Facts about Rochelle Aytes:

  • Rochelle is most known for her 2004 role in White Chicks as Denise Porter, and more recently in the 2009 TV series The Forgotten as Detective Grace Russell.
  • In 2011, she guest starred in three episodes as Amber James, the former girlfriend of Keith Watson, in the seventh season of ABC series Desperate Housewives.
  • Graduated with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Dance from SUNY Purchase College Conservatory for Dance in 1998.
  • Currently, Aytes stars on the 2013 ABC drama series Mistresses about the lives of four female friends and their involvement in an array of illicit and complex relationships.
