CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Swimming is the No. 1 outdoor activity in the summer. But drowning is the No. 1 cause of death among kids ages 1-4.

Good Day Chicago took a special look inside a specialized swimming school that teaches kids how to swim in a setting that is very different than neighborhood public pools.

Goldfish Swim School is located on Chicago's North Side at 2630 W. Bradley Place, and their successful program takes a different approach to teaching kids how to swim safely.

They break it down, starting with basic survival skills and working their way up to swimming techniques, in a kids-only environment.
