Police are investigating two unrelated shootings in Philadelphia.

In Philadelphia's Hunting Park neighborhood, police are searching for a killer.

Homicide detectives say a 35 year old man was shot in the back on the 2700 block of Luzerne Street.

The gunfire rang out just before 2:30 a.m. Monday morning. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. That gunman is on the loose.

And another deadly shooting occurred in Philadelphia's Olney section.

A young man was shot on the basketball court, on the 5100 block of Whitaker Ave, around 10 p.m. last night.

Police believe two men were arguing, when one of them pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the stomach. Police have not made any arrests.
