Several people have been injured in crash between a HART bus and a car along 56th Street, south of Hillsborough Avenue.
It happened in front of the west entrance of Netpark off 56th Street. FHP investigators say it appears the bus hit the car head-on after the bus turned into the car's path.
The view from SkyFOX showed the bus ended up slamming into what appears to be a large NetPark sign after the collision with the car.
A spokesperson with Hillsborough Fire Rescue says nine people on the bus were hurt, two of them with serious injuries. One of them was the driver, Juan P. Washington of Riverview.
The driver of the car was the most seriously injured of all the crash victims and was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert. He was identified by troopers as Johny Ngoc Giang, 20, of Tampa.
Charges are pending, troopers said.
