BREMEN, Ga. -

A three-vehicle accident slowed traffic on Interstate 20 eastbound late Tuesday.

Authorities say that preliminary investigation indicates that a tractor-trailer carrying liquid creamer wasn't able to stop before striking a FedEx tractor-trailer. The first truck caught fire and struck a third tractor-trailer, authorities said.

Three people were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials have closed I-20 eastbound and are routing traffic off at U.S. Highway 27 in Bremen. It was expected to reopen around 11 p.m., Georgia State Patrol officials said.
