Saturday marks one year since the movie theater massacre in Aurora, Colorado.

12 people were killed and another 70 were injured when a gunman opened fire at the midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises."

To honor the victims, their families and survivors are gathering together in a day of remembrance and a call to action.

One of the survivors joined FOX29's Mike Jerrick and Dawn Timmeney live from Colorado during "Good Day Philadelphia" Friday.
