ROSWELL, Ga. -

It's called the world's only "totally mechanized team sport.' And, while whirly ball might at first seem like an odd hodge podge of somewhat-unrelated athletics, the sport recently held its own official national tournament. It did so in Atlanta!

Hoping to get you to embrace the whirly, Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken took a walk on the wild side – rather, the ‘whirly' side. He needed look no further than Whirly Ball Atlanta in Roswell. It's located at 5130 Commerce Parkway and is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
