If you like trying your luck at striking it rich with D.C. lottery scratch-offs, your chances may soon be over.
The Washington Post reports a dispute between the District and the company that makes the scratch-off tickets could mean the city will run out.
That company, Scientific Games, was set to earn a nearly $10 million contract this year.
But the two sides couldn't agree on a subcontracting rate.
The city's stock of tickets is expected to last four to five months.
