The New York City Police Department announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of August 17th & 18th, 2013. Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

Saturday, August 17

DOT / SUMMER STREETS - Manhattan:

Route: Centre Street between Brooklyn Bridge exit and Reade Street / Lafayette Street

Lafayette Street between Reade Street/ Centre Street and Fourth Avenue

Fourth Avenue between Lafayette Street and East 15th Street

Union Square East between East 15th Street and East 17th Street

Park Avenue South between East 17th Street and East 32nd Street

Park Avenue between East 32nd Street and East 72nd Street (Including the viaduct between East 40th Street and East 46th Street)

72nd Street between Park Avenue and 5th Avenue

Rest Stops: Centre Street between Reade Street / Lafayette Street and Worth Street

Cleveland Place between Kenmare Street and Spring Street

Spring Street between Crosby Street and Mulberry Street

Kenmare Street between Lafayette Street and Cleveland Place

Astor Place between Broadway and 4th Avenue

East 12th Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue

East 24th Street between Madison Avenue and Lexington Avenue

East 25th Street between Madison Avenue and Lexington Avenue

East 26th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue

East 32nd Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue

East 40th Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue

East 51st Street between Madison Avenue and Lexington Avenue

East 52nd Street between Madison Avenue and Lexington Avenue

ANCIENT ORDER OF HIBERNIANS STREET FESTIVAL - Manhattan:

Location(s): 6th Avenue between W 42nd Street and W 56th Street

FEDERATION OF INDIAN ASSOCIATION PARADE AND FESTIVAL - Manhattan:

Formation: E 37th Street between 5th Avenue and Park Avenue

E 38th Street between 5th Avenue and Park Avenue

Route: Madison Avenue between E 27th Street and E 38th Street

Dispersal: E 27th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue

Festival: Madison Avenue between E 23rd Street and E 27th Street
