NJ Town Celebrates American Legion World Series Title

BROOKLAWN, N.J. -

There's a big celebration happening Wednesday afternoon in Brooklawn, N.J.

The American Legion Post 72 won the 87th Legion World Series on Tuesday night.

The Brookers' 10-0 win over another legion squad from Petaluma, Calif., marks the third series title in the club's history.

FOX 29 Chief Meteorologist Scott Williams is in Brooklawn, where the team is getting a big welcome home. He'll be broadcasting live from there for the FOX 29 News at 5 & 6.
