FOX Furry Friends of the Week: Pit bulls Monkey and Bill Burr

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

FOX 32 News has teamed up with no-kill shelter PAWS Chicago to bring you an adoptable pet each week. This week, we're featuring two very special pit bulls!

Every year, thousands of pit bulls are abandoned and killed. PAWS Chicago wants to change that with their "Pit Pals" program. Bill Burr and Monkey are just two of the many pit bulls who need loving homes.

Bill Burr is 7-months old, full of enthusiasm and fun. He's been going to a doggie training course, and already knows "sit," "watch" and will spin for a doggie biscuit.

Monkey is 2-year old pit bull-terrier who was found wandering the streets as a stray. He's a cheerful guy, who likes to "monkey" around.

You can meet these two pit bulls and others looking for homes at the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
