PHILADELPHIA -

Police have arrested a friend in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old that they say was over a stolen a video-game system.

According to homicide investigators, Daquan Crump was killed by Malik Anderson, 18, of the 1800 block of Tomlinson Road.

Detectives say Anderson, who was arrested Wednesday, lured his boyhood friend to a Somerton demolition site and pumped 10 shots into his head.

The killing resulted from their theft of another friend's PlayStation 3, Homicide Division Capt. James Clark told reporters. He said Crump stole the game console plan alone and cut Anderson out of the deal when he sold the PS3 on the street for $60.

Crump was last seen leaving his job at a fast-food restaurant on Aug. 17.

His body was found two days later, on a Monday morning, at the demo site just off Northeast Avenue, just a mile from his home.

Police said at the time that the crime was so vicious that they believed it to be personal, not random.
