High School Amputee Returns To Football Field With 2 TDs
A high school football player in Montana is making strides less than a year after a life-threatening injury.
Koni Dole returned to the field over the weekend after breaking his right leg last October during a game.
After undergoing several surgeries, his lower leg became infected and had to be amputated.
But on Friday, he was back doing what he loves, even running for two touchdowns.
"It all came back, you know, because, you know, what I though was my last play was on this field and just to overcome all this, and to be back out on the field with my teammates, is probably the best feeling I've ever had."
Dole helped the team blow out their competitors during the season opener, 45-0.
