Beer lovers may be heading to Gilbert after the city's first brewery is now open for business.
The Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company had their grand opening Monday, becoming Gilbert's first true microbrewery and a growing part of the Arizona craft beer scene.
People were invited out to the brewery near Guadalupe and Arizona Avenue to spend Labor Day enjoying their nice selections of beer.
"There's other great beer around the country and I hope their people are supporting them, but this is Gilbert and people need to come to Gilbert and see that we have a lot of culture going on here," said Jonathan Buford, bar owner.
"We're trying to take beer back and have the people of America enjoy good beer again and not just that stuff that people sell in those commercials during the Super Bowl."
The Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company also plans to keep all of their business dealings here in Arizona.
