NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) -

D'Jais Bar and Grill in Belmar would normally be open right now, but it remains closed because of a possible mumps outbreak. Of the 22 cases, health officials say 21 have either been patrons or are employees of the bar.

No music. No drinks. An empty bar and restaurant.

D'Jais co-owner Frank Sementa said several of his employees started feeling sick over the weekend. And then, the bad news: doctors said it might be the mumps.

"The employees went to the doctors and then all of a sudden it became, well gee, they're saying we may have the mumps," he said.

Mumps is a highly infectious disease, particularly if you haven't been vaccinated for it.

Sementa saids he and the other owners decided to close bar to be safe.

"The most prudent thing to do was to close this weekend and let the dust settle and see where we are Monday," he said.

It's unclear if any of those who got sick were vaccinated at any point for mumps.

Those vaccinated as an infant and then again between the ages of 4 and 6 are 90 percent less likely to contract it. But, it can spread quickly, Dr. Natasha Withers with One Medical Group said.

"Initially it's kind of difficult because you get fever chills and body aches and as the disease progresses you usually get swollen glands," she said. "Typically it takes two weeks after exposure to get sick."

The majority of those sick are from Monmouth County, including Asbury Park, Belmar and Long Branch. Others live outside of the county including Point Pleasant, Woodbridge and Saddle Brook. County officials say they're waiting on the confirmation of test results.

The tap dance superstar has dazzled audiences from the small screen to the big screen from the White House to the Great White Way. More than just a legend, Savion has become a curator of tap. He is on a mission to keep the craft sacred for future generations.

Burger chain Five Guys is testing the adage that everything tastes better with bacon. It is rolling out a customizable milkshake program and along with bananas, peanut butter, Oreo cookies, salted caramel, you can chose bacon.  Yes that's right: a bacon milkshake.

Like most soon-to-be third graders, Sonja knows what she's looking for when it comes to back-to-school shopping. For kids trying to be fashionable -- and parents looking to keep it affordable -- there's the Ocean County Hunger Relief Warehouse in Toms River, New Jersey. It's basically a huge thrift shop.
