ATLANTA -

A suspicious package found near the main entrance of the CDC turned out to be a bucket filled with chlorine tablets, according to DeKalb County police.

Authorities are reopening nearby parts of Clifton, Briarcliff and Houston Mill roads to traffic. They were briefly closed off while a DeKalb County bomb unit evaluated the contents of the bucket.

The evacuation of a few local businesses – as a safety precaution – has also been ended.
