Kroger to stop doubling manufacturer coupons

ATLANTA -

Starting September 21, Kroger will no longer be doubling manufacturer coupons at Kroger stores in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina.

"We will continue to accept manufacturer coupons and other coupons at face value, including digital coupons, e-coupons, Catalina coupons and printable coupons," the grocery chain said in a Sept. 6 post at the Kroger Facebook page.

Starting Sept. 8, almost three weeks prior, Kroger is rolling out a New Lower Prices program. The company says it will be reducing prices on "thousands of everyday items."
