DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. (MyFox Detroit) -

Dearborn Heights received a call Monday evening from an anonymous person who saw the dog in the river near the intersection of Warren Road and Outer Drive. Officers were able to pull the dog out the river.

The dog did not appear injured, so officers got help from Dearborn Police's after hours animal control officers. The dog was then taken to the Dearborn Animal Shelter.
