Witnesses testify against Robert (Bob) Bashara Monday in a preliminary hearing to determine if there's enough evidence to charge Bob for first-degree murder of his wife, Jane.

Witnesses painted a picture of Bashara's secret sex life. Prosecutors say he wanted Jane out of his life to pursue a different lifestyle with his girlfriend, Rachel Gilette.

The hearing was originally scheduled for 9 a.m., but due to a police situation earlier at the courthouse, it was rescheduled for the afternoon.

Jane's body was found Jan 24, 2012, in her Mercedes-Benz in a Detroit alley, a few miles from the couple's home in Grosse Pointe Park. Handyman Joseph Gentz has pleaded guilty to strangling her, saying he did so at Bob's behest.

Bob is already serving up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to trying to hire someone to kill Gentz in jail. He's denied being involved in his wife's death.
