Another stormy night across metro Detroit

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

More storms rolled through metro Detroit Thursday night causing more downed trees and power lines.

Watch the video to hear from a Warren family hit by tonight's storm, and to see other damages across Detroit.

As of 9:30 p.m., DTE Energy has restored power to 38,000 customers who were impacted by the storms Wednesday night. DTE says approximately 40,000 customers are still without power, but it should be restored by late tonight.

Temperatures statewide are expected to drop considerably for the rest of the week.
