Ga. state House GOP Caucus fills leadership roles

ATLANTA (AP) - The Georgia state House Republican Caucus has chosen members to fill key leadership positions.

During a meeting Friday, state Rep. Matt Ramsey of Peachtree City was elected House majority whip. Rep. Matt Hatchett of Dublin was chosen as chairman of the House, and Rep. Sam Teasley of Marietta was selected as vice-chairman of the caucus.

House Speaker David Ralston said each of the three new caucus officers has a reputation for hard work and their contributions will be integral to the caucus.
