Forsyth County library bridges past with the future

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga -

With America's first book-less library opening in San Antonio last weekend, it would seem that the traditional library is a dying institution.

But, that's not the case in Forsyth County. Good Day's Tacoma Perry checked out how libraries are bridging the past with the future. They say their secret is staying one step ahead of the times.

This newest library cost just under $7.2 million, with a good deal of money appealing to what the public wants and will use. That might be a teen room with the latest technology and swapping out bigger monitors for small tablets.

If you haven't visited your local library yet, then now is a good time to go. Most libraries have many of their books available for download on your smartphone or tablet.
