NEW YORK (AP) -- Authorities say a headless body found on the subway tracks in Queens apparently was a man hit by a subway train.

The Daily News says a rider at a station in Jamaica, Queens, alerted officials after seeing the body around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The MTA says investigators have been interviewing crews who were on the last three trains that went through the station before the discovery.
