CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Home Depot has become the latest company to push employees off their health insurance plan and tell them to seek care on a public exchange. The change applies to 20,000 part-time workers.

Home Depot will continue to provide health insurance to full-time employees, but says they'll be paying more.

Enrollment in the public health care exchanges opens on October 1.

Trader Joe's recently made a similar announcement.
