Prostitution sting leads to 8 arrests in Aurora

AURORA, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Eight men were arrested Thursday after they offered a west suburban undercover police officer money in exchange for sexual services, police said.

The men, all from Aurora, are all being charged with solicitation of a sexual act, according to a statement from Aurora police, who are not disclosing the location of the sting operation.

Charged were Herman Glass, 52, of the 600 block of Rathbone Avenue; Antonio Foster, 42, and Jose Rivera, 38, both of the 600 block of South River Street; Jorge Fragoso, 64, of the 400 block of South State Street; Antonio Martinez, 40, of the 1200 block of California Avenue; Cecilio Reynoso, 46, of the 600 block of Fulton Street; Jose Rosa, 51, of the 1700 block of Felten Road; and Manuel Corall, 36, of the 700 block of Hammond Avenue, police said.

All of the men are scheduled to appear in Aurora Branch Court on Oct. 16, police said.
