ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

A jury has been selected in the trial of Roderick Johnson, a former Orlando police officer accused of sexual battery which allegedly occurred during the arrest of a woman in October of 2012.

The woman, who was stopped by Johnson for driving a stolen car, filed a complaint in which she claims he took her to a police substation where they had sex before proceeding to the Orange County Jail.   She told investigators that she felt she had no choice but to comply, because he was a police officer.

Johnson, 45, denies having sex with the woman, and has entered a not-guilty plea.

Opening statements begin on Tuesday morning.
