Braves fans excited about postseason prospects

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Fans were excited to greet the National League East Division champion Atlanta Braves at Turner Field on Monday.

The Braves clinched the division title on Sunday.

Longtime fans said they energized and excited about the possibilities of the postseason.

We don't get to go to a lot of Braves games so it's nice to be here right after they clinched the division.

Some superstitious fans credit Waffle House for some of the team's success. The Braves went on a 14-game winning streak after the restaurant opened on July 26.

Whatever the secret behind the Braves' winning ways, fans hope to go all the week this year.

Unfortunately, it appeared that the Braves may have still been recovering from their celebration on Monday. The team lost 5-0 to the Milwaukee Brewers.
