Interfaith service held for Navy Yard shooting victims

WASHINGTON -

Clergy of many faiths gathered for an Interfaith service for the victims of the Navy Yard shooting.

D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray was also there just hours after attending the funeral of Arthur Daniels, the only D.C. resident killed in the massacre. Daniels' son was shot and killed four years ago.

"Isn't it time we do more than just pay lip service about this senseless gun violence?" Gray asked.

Assistant Police Chief Alfred Durham says there was an arrest in the shooting death of Daniels' son. He says the city owes it to all of the Navy Yard victims to make sure they do not die in vain.
