Thieves target same home in two weeks

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

A Detroit family will have to replace their valuables again after their home was robbed for the second time in two weeks.

Danielle Hendricks, who lives at the home, says the thieves made away with TV's, guns, laptops, and a cross-bow from the first robbery. The family called police, but say they never came to take fingerprints that were left on the window. Hendricks says a sergeant came by to check on her.

Wednesday the home was again broken into - Hendricks believes by the same people. This time they stole new TV's to replace the stolen ones, as well as iPad's and jewelry.

Hendricks says she will have the windows secured.
