DETROIT (WJBK) -

Investigative reporter Scott Lewis spent many years busting bad guys and broadcasting their stories here in Detroit.

Now, he's making news of his own.

The veteran reporter is hanging up the microphone and starting his own business as a private investigator.

"I spent my life telling stories," says Lewis. "As a private investigator, I won't be saying anything."

Lewis says private investigators can only divulge the dirt to his clients. His reputation for diligence, hard work and honesty should make him the first name you look for when looking for a P.I.

"I want to be the private investigator that does the same quality of work that people saw when I was on TV," says Lewis.

Who hires a private investigator anyway?

"I expect to do a lot of work for lawyers."

Scott has all the details worked out. He's ready to dig his nose into the bad guys' business. While you won't see him on TV, he'll still be around, investigating and solving mysteries as he's been doing for all these years.
