ATLANTA -

A fight over a woman at a gentleman's club in northeast Atlanta sent a security guard to the hospital with gunshot wounds early Wednesday morning.

Atlanta police tell FOX 5 News that the shooting at Club ONYX on Cheshire Bridge Road started when two men were harassing a woman in the parking lot just after 3 a.m. Wednesday. A security guard intervened after hearing the woman's screams from the two men grabbing the victim.

Police say when the guard pushed one of the men away; the second man pulled a gun from his car and opened fire. The guard was shot in the leg and neck. A second guard rushed him to Grady Memorial Hospital.

The security guards say the men fled the scene in a white Mercedes SUV. Police are still searching for the men.
