Two Rescued From NE Philadelphia Fire

PHILADELPHIA -

An elderly couple was rescued from a fire that burned in their home. The fire started at around 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, according to authorities. It started in the back of the house. The couple had two smoke detectors, but both didn't go off. Fire officials are investigating.

The couple was airlifted to Temple University Hospital and are in critical and stable condition. Stephanie Esposito will have more information for you as the day goes on.
