Seminole County Sheriff's deputies say a road rage incident in Longwood Thursday morning, ended with Christopher Cummings, 28, staring down the barrel of a semi-automatic pistol.
"I was just looking right down the end of a gun asking God, Is it my time?" Cummings said.
Deputies say the man who pointed the gun is Sparkman Summerall, 57, investigators say he got up upset when the victim merged into his lane on State Road 419, from there things quickly escalated.
Deputies say the suspect raised his middle finger at the victim, then threatened him before raising his gun.
"I said what you going to do, shoot me? And then I said well you're going to jail, I already had my phone in my hand, I just dialed 911," Cummings said.
Deputies tracked Summerall down soon after and he was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon -- he bonded out soon after. Fox 35 went to his Winter Park home to get his side of the story but were told to leave.
Meanwhile Cummings is just grateful things didn't end differently.
"When you go home at night you say your prayers after that," Cummings said.
