SACRAMENTO, CALIFONIA- This past week you could find Nicolas Come at the Tenth Annual Sarta Clean Air Showcase in California, showing the launch of his new app "Nicolas's Garden".
9-Year-Old Nicolas Come enjoyed showing his new app to hundreds at this event.
"Nicolas's Garden" is an app meant to inspire healthy eating habits by allowing children to share recipes, create games, and encourage shopping for local produce.
At a young age Nicolas was always intrigued by his father's garden, which sparked his inspiration for the app.
"I started eating healthier because dad had grown a garden. I was learning how foods were made, how they're grown and how they're cooked so I wanted to try them," Nicholas said.
Even Nicolas's father started to recognize the outcome of his son's growing app.
"Dad noticed that a lot of kids were checking out cook books from the library."
His healthy app has not only affected the children community, but has reached the adult level as well.
"I've met the President, been on TV countless times in fact this is another countless time." Nicolas hopes that this will continue for years to come, and will be able to reach greater heights with his products.
