Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in connection with the murder of Delvhon Jones, who was found murdered in his vehicle on July 5th.

"He was a good person, loving, and he loved his kids. He wasn't into no gangs or anything so this was a senseless crime," Belinda Jones, the victim's mother, shares on Thursday.

"I don't know how to feel: sad; disappointed; upset; depressed; crazy; deranged - all that!!" says Deangelo Jones.

Deangelo is grieving the loss of his brother. Delvhon was found murdered in his vehicle on Rowe Street on Detroit's east side. He was killed just hours after spending the holiday weekend with his family.

Delvhon Jr. was too shy to talk to cameras about missing his father, but the boy's mother says growing up with out a father is an endless cycle that has to stop.

"The same thing happened to me when I was younger. I lost my father to a gunshot to the head, just like [Delvhon Jr.'s] daddy," says Sarde Tillman.

Delvhon Jones was a graduate of Denby High School. He worked as a home healthcare provider, played basketball and volunteered in his spare time. He leaves behind two children who are six and two years old.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information call 1-800-SPEAK-UP or 1-800-773-2587. All calls and cash rewards are completely anonymous.
