CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Someone from Chicago could soon be relocating to a galaxy far, far away. There's a casting call on Thurs. Nov. 14 from 3-8 p.m. at Park West in Lincoln Park, for two roles in the new "Star Wars" movie.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the "Star Wars: Episode VII" parts call for a 17-18 year old female, and a 19-23 year old male with the following:

No.1: A young female, 17-18 years old, "street smart, independent, athletic, natural beauty… all ethnicities, multi & bi-racial." (The character is named "Rachel" and was "quite young when she lost her parents. With no other family, she was forced to make her way alone in a tough, dangerous town… Always a survivor, never a victim, she remains hopeful…")

No. 2: A young male to play 19-23 years old (though the actor must be older than 18). The role is described as "athletic, smart, handsome, independent spirited." (The character is named "Thomas," and he has "grown up without a father's influence. Without the model of being a man, he doesn't have the strongest sense of himself.")

There's no word yet on whether the roles will be Jedi or Sith -- or Wookies.

Lucasfilm and Disney is holding the open casting call. They ask that you please refrain from auditioning in costume. Acting experience isn't necessary but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The next installment of the movie series will be "Episode VII" directed by J.J. Abrams. It is slated to be released on Dec. 18, 2015.

But the character descriptions beg the question, who are these characters? Are you auditioning to be Luke Skywalker's kids? The children of Han Solo and Princess Leia? Or is Abrams, famous for releasing misinformation, just trying to throw us off the track? There are thousands of rumors spreading around the Internet, and the film hasn't even started shooting yet.

Good Day Chicago's Jake Hamilton spoke with members of an ultimate Chicago "Star Wars" fan club called the 501st Midwest Garrison, who had a few ideas!

The costuming organization is comprised of and operated by "Star Wars" fans here in Illinois. Matt Frysztak, Kathy van Beuninge, Christopher Cauwels and Eric Werner joined the show Thursday morning, in some of the most impressive "Star Wars" gear FOX 32 has ever seen!

May the force be with you.
