ATLANTA (AP) - More than 1,300 Latino teens are expected to gather at Emory University for a conference meant to motivate students to go to college and pursue careers.

Pulitzer-prize winning journalist and author of "Enrique's Journey" Sonia Nazario is scheduled to hold several workshops, including one on how to tell one's own story.

There will also be workshops on how to apply for scholarships and financial aid, how to fill out a college application, and how to pursue careers in science. There will also be a college and career fair.
