Berks County Manhunt Under Way After Police Chase

BERKS COUNTY, Pa. -

A massive manhunt is under way in southern Berks county for a wanted truck driver, state police say. The suspect's name is Harold Davis, according to police, and he is wanted for multiple robbery and assault charges in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia.

The incident began after 10 a.m. There was a chase through Southern Berks County, which ended at around 10:30 am two miles North of Morgantown, when Davis apparently stopped the truck and ran off into a wooded area.

Police are describing the suspect Davis as a black male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, wearing a dark-colored coat, a dark hat and glasses.

Alert police immediately if you see someone fitting that description, they say.
