Exhibit Lays Out Specter's JFK Assassination Theory

Exhibit Lays Out Specter's JFK Assassination Theory

PHILADELPHIA -

It was the late Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter who advanced the "single-shooter" theory as a member of the Warren Commission that looked into President John F. Kennedy's assassination.

Right now, an exhibit dedicated to the investigation is on display at the Arlen Specter Center for Public Policy at Philadelphia University.

The exhibit re-examines evidence and presents conflicting theories while allowing visitors to come to their own conclusions.

It includes a limousine model that helps you follow Specter's investigation into the bullets fired that day.

Professor Evan Laine, director of Law and Society at Philadelphia University, said, "Was it a conspiracy, or was it a lone gunman? And that's what Specter was out to find. So, he has to decide what did that second bullet do? Did it do all the damage to Kennedy in the neck and to Connolly. Or, if it didn't do the damage to Connolly, then there has to be another bullet, four bullets, and that means a conspiracy."

The exhibit runs through April 11, 2014, and is free to the public.
