Police investigate report of sexual assault at gunpoint

DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

Detroit Police are looking for a violent predator after a sexual assault was reported Sunday. The victim says she was attacked at gunpoint and forced into a car.

The 26-year-old woman says the attack took place at Alcoy and Pinewood. Investigators searched a property on Liberal St. near Rex where the attack is said to have taken place. Police later found the victim more than a mile away on the 19,000 block of Goulburn.

The woman says the suspect also stole more than $60, her Social Security card and her ID. The suspect is described as a dark skinned black man in his mid 20's with tattoos on both hands. He's about 5'7" and 150 pounds with short hair. He may be driving a white, two door car like an older model Ford Taurus. Anyone with information should call Detroit Police.
