FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) - Terren Jones says it will feel like another preseason game if he has a chance to play in the Falcons' game against the Bills on Sunday.

Jones, a rookie offensive tackle, was signed to the active roster from the practice squad on Tuesday. He has not played in a game since the preseason, when he was trying to earn a roster spot. He says he'll have similar motivation if he plays on Sunday, except this time he'll be trying to show he should be included in Atlanta's plans for 2014.

Jones isn't the only player whose future is on the line. The Falcons' disappointing 2-9 record has coach Mike Smith planning to look more closely at young players who will try to outperform veterans in the final five games.
