CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Airport travelers have a new source for flight information after a 24-hour-a-day airport radio station launched this week.

AIR Chicago hit the airwaves Nov. 25, broadcasting O'Hare and Midway International Airports flight information, as well as weather, news and jazz, according to a release from the Chicago Department of Aviation.

Travelers can tune in through a digital app, via the department's website or on Clear Channel's local HD2 station 103.5 WKSC-FM, officials said.

O'Hare and Midway are the first airports in the nation to launch a dedicated radio station from Clear Channel, the release said.

The station was developed as a collaboration among Clear Channel Airports, iHeartRadio and the aviation department, officials said.
