WYCD radiothon raises money for St. Jude

TAYLOR, Mich. (WJBK) -- Detroit country music station 99.5 WYCD is hosting its annual Country Cares for St. Jude Kids radiothon live from the Southland Center in Taylor beginning Thursday.

The radiothon raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, one of the world's premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other deadly childhood diseases.

Last years, the radiothon raised over $500,000.

Local listeners interested in helping kids can pledge a donation by calling 800-374-4995 or by visiting www.wycd.com.
