JONESBORO, Ga. -

A Division of Family and Children Services worker arrested on drug charges over the weekend has been fired, FOX 5 has confirmed.

Police say 38-year old Ericka Thompson was transporting a disabled man when she was pulled over by a Jonesboro police officer Saturday.

The patrol officer reportedly smelled marijuana in the car, and said a search of the vehicle turned up pot, cocaine, and oxycontin.
