NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) - The Mother's Day experience features Yolanda Adams, CeCe Winans, The Clark Sisters, Shirley Caesar, Tramaine Hawkins, Dorothy Norwood, Dottie Peoples, Cissy Houston, Melba Moore, Vickie Winans, Kim Burrell, Tasha Cobbs and Erica Campbell. It is produced and directed by A. Curtis Farrow.

It is Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Tickets are on sale. Tickets can be purchased at the Prudential Center Box Office or through Ticketmaster by calling 800.745.3000, or at www.ticketmaster.com.

McDonald's Gospelfest originated in 1983 under the auspices of the McDonald's Corporation and the McDonald's Tri-State Owners' Association. Thirty-one years later, it has emerged as the nation's preeminent Gospel celebration, bringing joy, inspiration, encouragement and hope to millions of Americans. Previous McDonald's Gospelfest participants have gone on to successful careers in entertainment, including the renowned Bishop Hezekiah Walker.

    A girl from Staten Island apparently drowned off Coney Island Beach Tuesday evening, police said. Good Samaritans pulled Takara McDuffy, 10, and a 9-year-old girl from the water near Stillwell Avenue at about 7 p.m., the NYPD said. Medics took McDuffy to Coney Island Hospital where she was pronounced dead, authorities said.

    The Federal Aviation Administration has banned U.S. carriers from flying to Israel's main airport for 24 hours. The FAA made the announcement at about 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday. This comes after two U.S. airlines cancelled all flights to Israel until further notice following a rocket landing near the Ben-Gurion Airport earlier in the day.
