Camera Captures Delivery Man Tossing Package 20 Feet

Posted: Updated:
LA PLATA, MD -

Twenty feet; that's how far a package that a Maryland mom ordered flew before it hit her concrete porch.

Her home security camera caught the delivery man chucking it on the last leg of its journey.

Jackie Moon's home security camera sends her an email of a snapshot whenever motion is triggered.

Imagine her surprise when she saw a picture of the package that she ordered caught in its mid-air flight. Surprised by the picture, the Moon family looked at the video footage. It turns out that the delivery man threw the package twenty feet.

Although nothing was broken, Jackie Moon was concerned that home delivery packages were handled in this manner. After all, what if there was something fragile in her box?

The Moons then shared the picture and video to friends and family, and the incident has gone viral. They then filed a complaint to FedEX. A spokesperson says that FedEX is shocked that such an incident occurred and the employee has been terminated.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
