Rose Parade: Seeing The Floats Up-Close and Personal!

Pasadena, CA -

(FOX 11 / CNS) The 125th Rose Parade's Showcase of Floats will give visitors an up-close look at the floats. Early admission for senior citizens and disabled people begins at 7 a.m. Sierra Madre Boulevard between Washington Boulevard and Sierra Madre Villa Avenue, and Washington Boulevard between Sierra Madre Boulevard and Woodlyn Road.

From Hal Eisner:

From the time she was 12-years-old Joyce Marsh has watched the Tournament of Roses Parade and dreamed of seeing it in person. Now, 62 her dream has come true and how perfect when you consider the theme of this year's parade was "Dreams Come True!"

Marsh said she was like "a kid in a candy store" as she and her husband Bill looked over the floats at Victory Park in Pasadena. She saw them in the parade. But, eyeballing them on display at the park was like whipped cream on a sundae. Why? Seeing this parade and the floats was on her "bucket list!"

Others we met at the park were amazed as they looked at the many flowers and vegetables. 10 year old Leena Ladner was awestruck at how intricate and detailed the floats were designed. She called them "art."

Dino Andino had his girls with him. He's seen the post-parade display before. Andino says it just keeps getting better.

You can still see the 2014 Pasadena Tournament of Roses "Showcase of Floats" next to Pasadena High School. The final day is Thursday 1/2/14. Tickets will be on sale till 3pm at $10 a piece. Children under 5 are free. The park will be open from 7am to 9am for seniors and disabled guests. It is open from 9am to 5pm for all guests. It takes a couple of hours to walk around and see all of the floats.

It's no secret that Microsoft has struggled in the hardware department so I can't say whether the Surface Pro 3 will be the hero Microsoft needs but I can say it is the modern computing experience users deserve. I love it and think you should too! Read on to find out why.
