ATLANTA -

Eight armed men stormed into an Atlanta clothing store and stole more than $20,000 worth of merchandise on Monday.

The robbery happened at the Fly Kix store in Atlanta's Castlebury Hill neighborhood just before 7 p.m.

More than 200 apparel items, including designer sneakers, were taken. Surveillance cameras recorded the hooded men pointing their weapons at employees and demanding cash from the register. Several customers were also robbed, according to Officer John Chafee of the Atlanta Police Department.

The store -- a favorite for hip hop artists - - was closed Thursday while workers sorted through the remaining stock.

Atlanta police investigators hope surveillance photos will lead to arrests.

There were no reports of injuries.
