13-Day Streak of Gas Price Increases Ended This Weekend

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11 / CNS) - A 13-day streak of increases to the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County ended Saturday with the price unchanged, remaining at $3.699.

The average price rose 5.9 cents during the streak, including three-tenths of a cent on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.1 cents more than one week ago, 7.2 cents higher than one month ago and 5.7 cents greater than one year ago.

The Orange County average price rose for the 15th consecutive day, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.686, 3 cents more than one week ago, 8.1 cents higher than one month ago and 6.1 cents greater than one year ago.

The Orange County average price has risen 7.1 cents during the streak of increases, including one-tenth of a cent on Friday.
