Police seek armed woman in Taylor bank robbery

TAYLOR, Mich. (WJBK) -- Police are searching for an armed woman who robbed a Taylor bank Monday afternoon.

The robbery happened at the Bank of America branch on the 20000 block of Eureka Road just before 3 p.m. The woman, seen on surveillance video with a semi-automatic handgun, gave the teller a note announcing the robbery.

The woman fled the scene in a white vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police believe she is in her mid-to-late 20s, approximately 5' 5" and 130 pounds. She has dark birthmark or mole under her left eye.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Taylor Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
